Randy Jackson Leaving ‘American Idol’ – Can We Stop Beating This Dead Horse Now?

Well, it finally happened,the last original judge Randy "big dawg" Jackson has left the show.

Even though he wont be judging, he will stay on as a consultant to the producers. I really think AI has reached the point where it needs to be cancelled. Its an old idea that's run its course.

Some great acts had their big break because of the show, don't get me wrong. Kelly Clarkson, Carrie Underwood and more - and some bad acts came from it, i.e Clay Aiken and Taylor Hicks. What do you think? Interest in 'American Idol' at an all time low?
