A woman visiting Six Flags New England this week was bitten by a rabid skunk.   Now, Massachusetts health officials are urging anyone who may have come in contact with the skunk at the theme park to contact the state health department.

The woman was at the park on Wednesday and saw a group of three skunks.  One bit her on the foot and it tested positive for rabies.

The health department says anyone who visited the park between July 21 and July 31 and was bitten or scratched by a skunk may have been exposed to rabies.   They are urged to contact their health care provider or call the state health department at 617-983-5800.
