Puppy Found In Barnstable Dumpster

This is one of the sickest stories I have ever read out of my home town.. A small, cute, defenseless puppy thrown away in a dumpster. Sick right?..It happened yesterday in Hyannis according to WHDH-TV Boston.

A Good Samaritan rescued the pup named Oscar from the trash in Barnstable.

The seven-week-old puppy had a broken jaw, which likely happened when he was thrown into the dumpster. Even while injured all he wanted to do he wanted to play and cuddle with the veterinarians now taking care of him. Still no word on what kind of human being would do this to a puppy or any animal for that fact. He has not been caught and no word on if Barnstable Police are looking for a suspect.

Oscar's jaw is healing well. He has been neutered and is up to date on his shots.The Jamaica Plain MSPCA is now hoping to find a good home for the dog. Get in touch with the MSPCA if you want to adopt this little guy.
