Public Gets First Glimspe Of Taunton Casino

The Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe unveiled its latest plans for the 500-million-dollar resort casino Tuesday night.  The tribe said "We will build a first class destination resort casino."  the plans call for 2 hotels, a water park, concert venue and new roads that the tribe says will improve traffic flow in the area of routes 140 and 24 in Taunton.  The Mashpees also claim that the construction of the casino will create 1,000 jobs, and more than 2,600 permanent jobs once the resort is open.
