Ready for relaxing evenings in Providence watching another great season of WaterFire? Here's the 2018 schedule!

The seasonal tourist favorite started back in 1994 as a one-time event for First Night Providence and expanded to the WaterFire we know and love today in 1997.

Now in it's 21st year there will be eight full lightings and two basin lightings throughout the spring, summer and fall.

Starting with Saturday May 26th.  The Memorial Day weekend full lighting will start at sunset, 8:09 p.m.

Other dates to see WaterFire this season include:

Saturday June 10th - Basin Lighting starting at sunset, 8:20 p.m.

Saturday June 30th - Full Lighting starting at sunset, 8:45 p.m.

Saturday July 14th - Full Lighting starting at sunset, 8:20 p.m.

Saturday July 28th - Full Lighting starting at sunset, 8:08 p.m. (This lighting is called C is for Cure: A WaterFire Lighting for RI Defeats Hep C)

Saturday September 8th - Full Lighting at sunset, 7:27 p.m.

Saturday September 22nd - Full Lighting at sunset, 6:43 p.m. (This lighting is called Salute to Rhode Island Educators and the Big Bang Science Fair)

Saturday September 29th - Full Lighting at sunset, 6:31 p.m. (This lighting is the annual Flames of Hope a Celebration of Life™)

Saturday October 6th - Basin Lighting at sunset, 6:31 p.m.

Saturday November 10th - Full Lighting at sunset, 4:30 p.m. (This lighting is the annual WaterFire Salute to Veterans)

If you go, know that folding chairs are not allowed per the Providence Fire Department.

But there is plenty to walk around and see during these events with food stands, live music and various performers throughout Downtown at every WaterFire lighting.
