Power of the Purse Charity Event

Power of the Purse is the launch of United Way of Greater New Bedford’s Women United Affinity Group. Many United Way’s across the country have this program, but it is new to the Southcoast. Power of the Purse is a ladies night out that will specifically raise money for early childhood development and literacy, which will also be the focus of Women United.

This charity event will feature hors d'oeurves, a cash bar, live entertainment and a fabulous auction of purses and more! Each guest will receive complimentary champagne. United Way of Greater New Bedford hopes it will attract people who may not be familiar with their organization.
