Massachusetts State Police say a woman died in a two-car crash on Interstate 495.

Police say the crash happened at 7:30 a.m. Thursday in Bristol County.

Police say the driver, 31-year-old Dominica Howard, of Norton, was driving southbound in the high-speed lane when an SUV changed lanes in front of her and caused her to swerve. She ended up in the northbound lane and collided with another vehicle.

Police say wasn't wearing her seatbelt and sustained critical injuries. She was taken to Rhode Island Hospital, where she was pronounced dead.

Firefighters and MassDOT officials were also at the scene.

Police say the driver of the other car, a 29-year-old Fall River woman, has not been charged with any wrongdoing.
