Police say there have been multiple overdoses in New Bedford in the past few days with one death.

Detective Captain Steve Vicente tells WBSM News a 40-year-old woman was found dead in her home on Sycamore Street Saturday afternoon. She was pronounced dead at the scene, and evidence of heroin use was found near her body. Vicente says the woman was the manager of a local residential halfway house.

On Monday, police responded to three non-fatal overdoses throughout the City. Vicente says all three victims were revived with Narcan.
