Police Find New Bedford Man Shot In Head

NEW BEDFORD - A New Bedford man was taken to St. Luke's Hospital after being shot in the head Tuesday night.

New Bedford Police say they responded to 51 Tallman Street to a report of a man suffering from a gunshot wound just before midnight.

The victim had been shot in the right temple and was found inside the home at 51 Tallman Street.. He has since been brought to Rhode Island Hospital. Police say the man is still alive, but his condition is unknown.

No arrests have been made. Police are still investigating.
