Police: Brockton Woman Offers Sex for Fee to New Bedford Officer

NEW BEDFORD - A Brockton woman is arrested in New Bedford after attempting to solicit sex for a fee from an undercover detective.

New Bedford Police say plain-clothes Gang Unit Detectives were patrolling the North End of New Bedford at 8:34 p.m. Tuesday when they observed a woman acting suspiciously in the area of Collette Street at Acushnet Avenue.

The undercover detectives engaged in an interaction with the woman. During the interaction, police say the woman attempted to solicit sex for a fee from one of the detectives.

Police arrested the woman, Nicole Finch, 32, of Brockton.

During the booking process, police found two pills of Adderall in her possession. Finch also had an outstanding warrant for her arrest.

Finch is charged with sexual conduct for a fee, possession of a Class B drug, and the outstanding warrant.
