Police and Dartmouth Rescue Respond to Car Crash

Car crash in Dartmouth

A  multi car pileup on Interstate 195 East closed a lane and snarled traffic Wednesday afternoon.

State troopers and Dartmouth Paramedics responded to the crash near Exit 11, Reed Road, at 4:45 p.m., said State Trooper Matthew Guarino.

Four of the cars were towed and two people were taken to St. Luke's with minor injuries, he said. No serious injuries were reported.

The accident happened at the median and police closed off the left lane until the scene was cleared. Police are investigating.
