Playtex has recalled about 3.6 million children's plates and bowls due to a choking hazard.

Consumers are asked to stop using them immediately and to contact Playtex for a full refund.

bowl, sippy cup, fork and spoon, were recalled because the plastic layer over the decorative graphics can peel off and become choking hazard.

The Consumer Product Safety Commission says there were 372 customers complaints about plastic bubbling or peeling from the plates as well as 11 reports of pieces of detached plastic being found in children's mouths and four reports of children choking on the detached plastic.

Anyone with these Playtex plates are asked to stop using them immediately and to contact Playtex for a full refund.

The plates feature a variety of images on them like cars, giraffes, princesses, superheroes and construction vehicles.

They were sold nationwide at Babies"R"Us, Target, Walmart and other retail outlets. They were also available online through Amazon.

All recalled plates were sold from October 2009 through August 2017.
