Massachusetts retail stores are required to wait until Midnight to open their doors, but what about restaurants/pizza shops?  One Pizza Hut manager who is refusing to work is now looking for a job.

Tony Rohr was fired from his job as a general manager at Pizza hut in Elkhart, Indiana because he told his superiors he would not open the restaurant on Thanksgiving:

I said, 'Why can't we be the company that stands up and says we care about our employees and they can have the day off?'"

Rohr, who started working at the pizza shop as a cook over a decade ago, had been ordered to open the restaurant. After he told his bosses he would not open, he was ordered to sign a letter of resignation.

Rohr balked at signing the letter, choosing instead to pen his own letter, explaining his decision:

I am not quitting. I do not resign, however I accept that the refusal to comply with this greedy, immoral request means the end of my tenure with this company. I hope you realize that it's the people at the bottom of the totem pole that make your life possible.”

Pizza Hut has no comment on the matter.

Rohr says his family totally backs his actions.
