She had just delivered pizza to a home near 900 Walnut Street when she saw a man on the street watching her walk to her vehicle…

According to The Herald News, the victim is a driver for Dave’s Pizza. As she was walking to her car, she said the man was following her and then grabbed her left shoulder. She quickly turned to face him and pepper sprayed him in order to safely get away. The victim said the man grabbed his face and was cursing as he rubbed his eyes.

Fall River Police Lt. Ronald Furtado says the victim did get away safely and anyone with information is asked to contact police. The man is described as white and about 5’9 with an average build. He was wearing a black stocking cap and a black sweatshirt or jacket.

Lt. Furtado also says none of the area hospitals admitted anyone who had been pepper sprayed that evening.
