As the New England Patriots head into halftime with a 20-3 lead over the Jacksonville Jaguars, here are some thoughts on the first half of play.

Brady Makes History- Late in the first half, Patriots quarterback Tom Brady connected with receiver Danny Amendola in the back of the end zone. The touchdown pass was Brady's 400th career score through the air and placed him in rare company as he became just the fourth quarterback in NFL history to hit the milestone. He now joins the group that includes former stars Dan Marino and Brett Favre and all-time touchdown leader Peyton Manning.

Brady On Fire Again- Along with joining the 400 Club today, Brady has had another all around strong game so far. Through two quarters he's 17-23 for 202 yards and the one score.

Missed Opportunities- The Pats offense does have two scores on the day but it seems like they've left some opportunities on the field. They failed to get into the end zone early in the second quarter after getting down inside the 5-yard line and had to settle for a field goal. With that being said, the team is up 17 points and will probably win be an even larger margin.

Suspect Secondary- The New England secondary has had an interesting game so far. They've allowed a few long passes from Jacksonville quarterback Blake Bortles, who's 8-17 for 80 yards, which is a bit concerning. They have defended a few plays well, however, and safety Devin McCourty had a nice pick that led to a field goal for New England.

All in all, the second half should be an easygoing experience for the Pats.
