The SUV's danced in a conga line all the way down 195 and 146 to Worcester.  And the ride back home to the Tri Town was even sweeter.  The Old Rochester Bulldogs have won their first basketball state championship in the school's history.

The Bulldogs were led by Freshman phenom Noah Fernandes, who scored a game high 20 points.  Fernandes was dominant, blocking shots, stealing balls, and sinking four 3 pointers.

While the Bulldogs never trailed, the game wasn't without it's white knuckle moments.  Hoosac Valley tied the score midway through the 3rd quarter, but the Bulldogs extended their lead in the 4th. They never looked back.  Head Coach Steve Carvalho added a nice touch by subbing in all of his bench for the final moments of the critical game as thousands of ORR fans rose to their feet to count down to the State Championship Title.  ORRHS Principal Mike Devol and Athletic Director Bill Tilden awarded the well deserved medals to team.
