Barbara Walters talked to the boys of One Direction as part of their inclusion in her 10 Most Fascinating People of 2012 list and they revealed the one thing they will never get used to as their fame reaches stratospheric levels.

Babs asks them the boys if they are used to the shrieking of the fans, who obsessively follow them and chase them down streets and in public, often at a danger to themselves.

Adorbs blond singer Niall Horan explained that you never get used to it. He said, "We were heading out to go to a concert and we turned a corner from our hotel and the girls started running down the main avenue, like a zombie movie. How can you get used to this, watching people running down a main street with cars everywhere? You can never get used to it."

Aw, Niall worries about Directioner safety. He doesn't want fans to get hit by cars while running recklessly to try and get closer to the band.

Harry Styles said that it still blows his mind. "To think we are some people's favorite band is insane," he said, without an ounce of pretense. He also says he wouldn't camp out for days to see his favorite band, but loves that the Directioners do that very thing.

The Barbara Walters special honoring the 10 Most Fascinating People of 2012 airs at 9:30PM ET on ABC on Wednesday, Dec. 12.
