Too many turnovers hurt the Old Rochester Regional Bulldogs tonight at the MIAA Division 6 Super Bowl at Gillette Stadium.

In what was a tight game from the start, the Bulldogs scored early on a Cole McIntyre toss to Tyler Noe who made a terrific catch, and Ryon Thomas' extra point kick was good.  Stoneham scored again before the half, and the Bulldogs trailed 12-7 at Halftime.

The second half was a back and forth battle.  Things looked good for the Bulldogs.  They scored another touchdown and led 20-12.  Then, Stoneham returned the kick all the way back to the Old Rochster 19 yard line.  Stoneham scored again, but ORR still recovered a fumble and had the 20-18 lead with 3 minutes left in the Super Bowl.  Then, another fumble.  This one was controversial.  Many Bulldog fans in the crowd thought the runner was down by the looks of things on the jumbotron, but the officials saw it differently.  It was one of two controversial fumbles at the end of the game.

Stoneham scored again to make the score 26-20 with less than two minutes to go.

That's where the score remained, as time finally ran out on the best Bulldog season since 1993.

Fun 107 congratulates all of the coaches and players for a terrific season.
