Officials Say New Bedford Fairhaven Bridge Needs Replacing

I have been over this bridge hundreds of times in my lifetime, but no matter how many times I'm stuck on the bridge, its still aggravating every time.

Some people turn around and head to 195 to defeat the bridge, but some say that takes just as long as waiting for the bridge to reopen.

According to the Standard Times, the New Bedford Harbormaster says the bridge needs replacing to benefit the future of New Bedford's waterfront.

Also according to the Standard Times, New Bedford Mayor John Mitchell said it would cost 9 figures to do it.

Would you be in favor of a total replacement of the bridge? I'm sure the popular opinion will be yes, if we don't have to wait for it to open and close!
