Ocean Grove Days Celebration

The town of Swansea will be celebrating it's 350th year with a weekend packed with family fun.

The Ocean Grove Days, sponsored by the Swansea Recreation Commission is August 4th-6th, that's this coming weekend.

It all begins Friday evening with a free outdoor movie screening of the new Disney film, Moana and admission is free!  Bring your blankets and lawn chairs for viewing from the parking lot.

On Saturday, the day begins at 9am with the OG Days Soap Box Derby, starting at American Legion Post 303. There are only a few spots remaining for cars, so make sure you enter soon. See Joe Foley of Foley Appliance with questions.

Sunday lasts from 10am-6pm with Family Fun Day at the Swansea Town Beach. There will be a variety of activities and contests until 3, including a Sandcastle Building Contest and Beach Volleyball.  Free music and food all day long will be provided by Price Rite.  A fun day at the beach for you and the kids, don't miss it.
