World Oceans Day is Sunday June 11th and the Buttonwood Park Zoo is celebrating!

From noon to 3:00 pm there will be a ton of fun educational activities throughout the Zoo for kids and adults.

World Oceans Day is a global day of ocean celebration and collaboration for a better future. Zoos and aquariums around the world will be spreading the message that no matter where you live you can help protect our greatest natural resource to ensure a healthier ocean and a better future for all.

Other activities include nature play activities in the old sheep/goat yard, shark activities and bio-facts, energy transfer, density boxes and shell building blocks in various locations throughout the Zoo.
