Fall River Police are looking for you

 

If you have ever thought about a career in Law enforcement the Fall River Police Auxillary Police might be your first step.

The Fall River Police are lookig for a few good local volunteers to serve as Auxilary Police Officers . If you meet the requirments it could be a good learn what its like being a police officer, get some experience and make some new friends

Successful candidates must successfully complete the Auxiliary Police Officer Basic Training Program for recruits. Instruction will be classroom, field, and on job training. The training consists of Automated External Defibrillator AED, baton certification, CPR cardio pulmonary resuscitation, department organization, rules and regulations, standard operating policies and procedures, Emergency Management Agency organization, First Responder first aid, patrol procedures, police vehicle operation, radio communications, report writing, traffic direction and enforcement. Upon appointment equipment and uniforms are issued by the Department.
Anyone interested in volunteering are requested to contact Deputy Police Chief Charles J. Cullen, Commander, Auxiliary Police Division, 508-676-8511, extension 173, for information. Applications will be accepted until Jan. 31.
