North Attleboro police are defending their officers' use of force in an arrest over the weekend.

Police say a woman called 911 after her ex-boyfriend tried to strangle her. When they arrived, they say he laughed, raised his fists, and got ready to fight.

“There are just two of you? You better call for back up.”

This video below was shot by a bystander. Officers can be heard repeatedly ordering the suspect to the ground, but the suspect refused to comply. One officer can be heard saying, "End it now, get on the ground."

North Attleboro Police say the video doesn't tell the whole story. Take a look and see what you think.
