No Powerball Winner, Jackpot At Record $425 Million

On Saturday many anxious lottery ticket holder were disappointed and excited at the same time. No winner for the weekend drawing, but the jackpot has now gone past $400 million.

The largest powerball jackpot to date is $365 million. The prize for Saturday's drawing was $325 million. The new powerball drawing will be held on Wednesday November 28.

Fortunately for many lotto players, the powerball is only played in 42 states, plus Washington DC and the Virgin Islands. So the odds are a little bit better. The largest lotto pay out in the US was $656 million, which was a Mega Millions win.
