No Power At Roger Williams Park Zoo

Roger Williams Park Zoo is without power today after a construction accident.

If you wanted to head to the zoo this afternoon, you are out of luck.

Seems a construction crew working on the rainforest expansion at the zoo hit a power line earlier today and caused the whole zoo to lose power.

ABC6 News reports that the workers and all of the animals are safe and that the zoo is working to restore power as quickly as possible.

The zoo will remain closed for Monday December 4th and is expected to reopen on Tuesday December 5th.
