There will only be one way in and one way out of the Wrentham Village Premium Outlets for Black Friday shopping.

I'm sure locals will not be happy to hear this news, but Wrentham Police say all back roads to Wrentham Village are going to be shut down the day after Thanksgiving.

No word on why they are preventing back road driving, though perhaps it was to make locals feel safer and neighborhoods less busy. Either way using your GPS to sneak around traffic on Black Friday will not be an option.

The chief took to the police Facebook page to share the news of the road closures saying all alternate routes would be "closed, shut down, roadblocked with a really friendly police officer turning you away."

I'm sure no matter how friendly the officer is, someone is going to be very upset they can't sneak past the traffic.

Still even if you have to wait behind the lines of drivers heading up I-495 and off Exit 15, you will probably still score some sweet deals at the outlets that day.

Black Friday shopping at the Wrentham Village Premium Outlets will start at midnight the day after Thanksgiving and go until 10 p.m. that night.
