Stealing peoples songs is a big no-no in the music industry, don't even come close to something similar, and if you do, you better give credit where credit is due. This may haunt Nicki Minaj for years in royalties and credibility. TMZ is reporting that Nicki Minaj's massive hit "Starships" is full-on deja vu to EDM star Clive Tanaka. Tanaka filed a federal suit in Chicago against Nicki, 3 writers, and the song's producer claiming copyright infringement on his 2011 tune "Neu Chicago."

Listen to a few seconds of "Starships", which came out in 2012 and then listen to Tanaka's song which was from the year before, and you make the call! Stolen, Close, but not stolen, this guy is drunk, sounds nothing a like.
