Nick Lachey + Vanessa Minnillo Welcome Son

Congrats to 98 Degrees member Nick Lachey and his lovely wife Vanessa Minnillo. The couple welcomed son Camden John, their first child together!

Little Camden was born Wednesday, Sept. 12 at 6:54PM.

Lachey issued a statement to Us Weekly about the birth. It read as follows:

We are incredibly proud to announce the birth of our beautiful baby boy, Camden John Lachey. Born today at 6:54 pm. He came into this world at 8lbs 9oz and 21 inches. Love has truly been redefined for both of us.

Aw! How precious. We cannot wait to see pictures of this bundle of joy. With parents are good looking as Lachey and Minnillo, Camden clearly hit the genetic jackpot.

Lachey, 38, and Minnillo, 31, wed in July 2011. An interesting fact about the duo? They share a birthday: Nov. 9.

He was previously wed to Jessica Simpson and gained incredible fame from their 'Newlyweds' reality show. Simpson welcomed her first child, daughter Maxwell Drew, in May of this year. So while Lachey beat her to the altar with remarrying first, she gave birth first.

We wonder if they sent each other congratulatory gifts on their respective firstborns? Something tells us there won't be any arranged play dates between the children as they grow up...
