It looks like we're heading for another great weekend along the South Coast. A front draped along the coast since Thursday morning will slowly ease offshore on Friday, and there should be plenty of sunshine Saturday and Sunday as high pressure moves overhead.

The nights will be relatively cool, with some areas in the countryside dipping into the 50s, while the coast and cities stay in the low 60s on Saturday and Sunday morning. Saturday afternoon looks sunny, with highs in the low to mid 80s inland, and upper 70s near the coast with an onshore breeze. It should be a great beach day.

There will be a few more clouds by late Sunday afternoon, but, overall, that looks like a nice day, too. The wind will be out of the south-southwest ahead of a slow-moving system that promises to bring showers and thunderstorms from time to time in the early to middle part of next week. Highs will be in the upper 70s to low 80s on Sunday.

Monday through Wednesday looks potentially unsettled. It will be breezy and humid, with scattered showers and thunderstorms possible each of those days. Right now, the best chance of heavy showers/storms seems to be Tuesday night into Wednesday. This is a vigorous weather system that will need to be watched closely as it may produce some severe weather along the Eastern Seaboard.
