Emmy Awards Announce Nominations and Host

The Emmys are coming soon and The Television Academy have announced the Host and Nominees!

Fox and the TV Academy's choice for this year's Emmy host is actor and comedian Andy Samberg. He is the star on Fox’s Brooklyn Nine-Nine and this will be his debut hosting a major award show. Last year, Sandburg took home an Emmy himself for writing Saturday Night Live tune "Di** in a Box."'

The Emmy Award Nominations were announced last week and feature all of our favorite TV features. Leading the pack with 24 nominations is the HBO series Game of Thrones, American Horror Story: Freak Show has 19 nominations and following close behind with 13 nominations is the HBO limited series Olive Kitteridge. Also my favorite, Park and Recreation, has been nominated for three!
