New Year’s Eve Family Fun In New Bedford

Looking to celebrate the New Year with the entire family?   Aha has put together a ton of activities in Downtown New Bedford beginning Monday afternoon.  

Hat making happens at Artworks from 2 til 4.   There's mask making at the New Bedford Art Museum from 4:30 til 6:30.   Hula Hooping is going on at the steps of the New Bedford Public Library downtown branch from 4 til 5, and the Ocean Explorium offers Hands-on activities from 4 til 7 p.m.

Take the kids to see the popular Toe Jam Puppet Band at the New Bedford YMCA.  They perform at 5:30, 6:30 and 7:30.   When it comes to music, you can dance at Wing's Court between 5:30 and 7:30, the Showstoppers perform at the Zeiterion from 5:30 til 6:45,  hip-hop music will go non-stop at UGLY Gallery throughout the evening as well.

Other entertainment includes Tattoos and tarot at MUSE studio from 5 until 8, live ice sculpting at Custom House Square at 4:30, and of course FIREWORKS begin at 8:30 at Custom House Square.   Aha suggests you park at the Elm Street garage to avoid the downtown construction.  Happy New Year.
