It will be a 10-foot wide walkway on top of the hurricane barrier.   The walking path will have lighting, benches and handrails.   It's considered to be another important step in helping those of us who live here as will as tourists to have access to the harbor.   It's being paid for with the help of $350,000 grant from the state.

When the announcement was made on Wednesday, there was no timeline available as to when work on the project will begin.   But, once it's complete, the harbor walk will provide one more recreational opportunity to enjoy the waterfront.
