New Taqueria Coming to North Main Street in Fall River

Could this be the No Problemo Fall River has been waiting for?

Co-Owners Jeannette and Irma filed for a new food establishment license back in January, Taqueria El Habanero. The new business is slated to open at 60 N. Main Street in Fall River, the former Main Street Bakery location.

The required "Common Victualler License"  was approved in the Fall River Licensing Board meeting back in February. This license allows them to "cook, prepare and serve food and which provides seating for the immediate consumption therein".  The license also notes that the new restaurant will have 20 seats within.

No word from the owners on when the establishment is expected to open - but here's hoping its in time for Cinco de Mayo. The owners say that a Facebook page for our new favorite Taco Tuesday spot should be up and running in the next few weeks so you can stay tuned for updates.
