Taco Bell fans in Fall River, get excited. A second location is coming to the city.

A new Taco Bell is in the works on Plymouth Ave

According to Fall River Development News' Facebook page, the newest TB is going to be built at 130 Plymouth Ave right next to Honey Dew and Subway.

The currently empty lot once held a gas station and insurance building, but has recently been leased for a Taco Bell franchise.

Fall River Development News says a lease has been signed and an architect/engineer has been hired, but no word on when construction will begin or how long the building project will take.

There's also no word on whether or not the newest Southcoast Taco Bell will be one the 'Cantina' Taco Bells.

In December, the company announced that several locations would start serving beer and twisted freezes as well as offering a walk-up window.

So far only Southern California has one of these, but the company says more are coming soon and the plan is for 300 of them to open over the next five years.

Depending on how successful the 'Cantina' Taco Bell already is, perhaps the company is ready to see how the model would work in Fall River?
