New Obesity Statistics for Massachusetts

It could be better, but it could be way worse. Boston Magazine reports that our little state of Massachusetts is ranked 4th least obese state in the country with 23% of adults being considered obese.

In the annual State of Obesity report, New England did fairly well, with none of the states making it into the top 10 MOST obese states and Massachusetts, Vermont and Connecticut were in the top 10 LEAST obese states.

The most obese state was Arkansas, with 35.9% obesity rate.
