You'll be able to get your cookie dough fix at a specialty cafe on Main St. in Fairhaven this year.

While there are a few places on the SouthCoast that added edible cookie dough to their menus in 2019 (Acushnet Creamery and Dairy Maid), DOUGH will be the first actual cafe to offer different varieties of cookie dough. And it sounds amazing.

The cafe will be opened and owned by the family that runs Pink Bonnet and Pretty Paws Bakery in the heart of Fairhaven Village.

According to their Facebook page, sisters Mary and Anne have always had the idea to open a (safe to eat) cookie dough cafe but it wasn't until the family received some devastating news that they put their plan into motion.

DOUGH Fairhaven will be opening in the coming months and located at 48 Main Street in Fairhaven. We can't WAIT to get our cookie dough on.

*Keep in mind that this cookie dough is made differently than the one that the CDC warns can make you sick. It is 100% safe to eat. Not that those warnings have ever stopped us before.
