While on the road to Manchester, the semi-pro Whaling City Clippers Football team got themselves into a confrontation with their opposing team, the New Hampshire Wolfpack.

During the game, a large brawl broke out between the two teams, leaving two op "It was a pretty chaotic scene when we got there,” said Manchester Police Sgt. Chris Biron. The incident occurred around 6:15 PM at West Memorial Field located across from West High School.

Police arrested 26-year-old Michael Vinagro of Manchester, N.H.arrested on charge of Second Degree Assault for attacking 25-year-old Brian Fernandes with his helmet. Fernandes refused medical attention, but was said to have lost consciousness. Vinagro was released on $2,000.00 cash/surety bail and is set to appear in the Ninth Circuit Court-Manchester on October 21.

25-year-old Dagnir Pina was also arrested on a charge of Disorderly Conduct and taken to police headquarters. He was eventually released on $500.00 personal recognizance and is scheduled to appear in the Ninth Circuit Court-Manchester on October 22.
