New Bedford Women Face Drug Charges After Lakeville Arrest
Two New Bedford woman are facing drug charges following their arrest in Lakeville on Monday.
Lakeville Police say that officers conducted a motor vehicle stop on Bedford St. around 1:23 a.m.
During a search of the vehicle officers found 224 grams of Heroin, $8,021 in cash, and 91 various doses of prescription medication.
Following the search police arrested 26-year-old Jennifer Randolph and 28-year-old Amanda MacDonald.
Randolph is being charged with Trafficking Heroin 200 grams or more, Possession of a Class A substance with intent to distribute, Possession of a Class A substance, and three counts of Possession of a Class B substance subsequent offense.
MacDonald is being charged with Trafficking Heroin 200 grams or more, Possession of a Class A substance with intent to distribute, Possession of a Class B substance, False name to a Police Officer, and Operating after suspension.
Both suspects were arraigned in Wareham District Court on Monday and held on $75,000 bail.
