New Bedford Whaling Museum Looking To Hire Students

 

New Bedford Whaling Museam

The museum is looking for motivated sophomores and juniors from New Bedford for their High School Apprenticeship Program beginning this summer.  Students who are hired will start on July 1st and will be expected to participate in the program for one full year.

Students will gain professional skills, participate in hand-on projects and create programming for museum audiences.  They will also learn about local history and operating a museum.

 

This is a paid program and is geared for students receiving free or reduced lunch at school.  The deadline to apple is Friday, June 14.  For more information go to www.whalingmuseum.org
