New Bedford School Department Announces School Bus Schedule

The New Bedford School Department has released its bus schedule for the 2015-2016 school year. You can access it on the link below.

Spokesman Jonathan Carvalho tells WBSM News, the bus schedule is a vital resource for students and parents. "Posting it on the web site makes it available to all families," said Carvalho. "There is also schedules for when schools begin, which is September 2nd for all schools except the Gomes School, which starts September 1st."

Carvalho says the biggest change this year is the relocation of several bus stops to main roads, in order to ensure safety for students and to ease travel concerns in the event of serious inclement weather. He's urging families to check out the bus schedule to avoid confusion.
