New Bedford Presents: "Summer Sound Series 2017"

Seven shows, seven genres, one FREE giant party on the State Pier!

The 2017 Summer Sound Series presents FREE Concerts on the Pier every Friday from 6:00 – 8:00 PM. Seven acts will perform different genres of music from Country to Reggae to Top 40 and everything in between!

The concert series, sponsored by Miller Lite, The Original Light Beer that has more taste and is less filling, will be kicking off this Friday, July 7th, 2017 at 6:00 PM.

The following ‘Friday Acts’ are as follows:

-Friday, July 7th: Hipshot Band (Top 40s, 80s, Country, Rock & Jazz)

-Friday, July 14th: Summer Ensemble (Jazz & Soul)

-Friday, July 2st: E-Water Band (Funk & Dance)

-Friday, July 28th: Louie Leeman & Cheap Sneakers (Rock n' Roll, R&B, Folk & Blues)

-Friday, August 4th: DJ Lady K (Record Hop & Dance Party)

-Friday, August 11th: TBA

-Friday, August 18th: Changes in Latitudes (Americaís Premier Jimmy Buffett Tribute)

Feel free to bring your own chair, sit back, and relax or get up and dance! There will also be Beer and Adult Beverages (21 Plus Only).

There's a bonus this year: Lunchtime Jazz in Custom House Square from 12-1:30pm.
