The New Bedford Police Department is looking for the community's support to fill their truck with emergency supplies and donations.

On Sunday, September 3rd, 2017, members of the New Bedford Police force will be driving straight down to Houston, Texas with emergency supplies for Hurricane Harvey victims.

Officer Donnie Williams organized a trip to the areas of Houston that has been damaged from extreme flooding.

Nicols Trucking in Middleborough, MA was kind enough to donate a truck that will be used to fill with blankets, clothes, toilet paper, etc. and driven down to emergency areas where the supplies are mostly needed.

After a successful day on Friday, September 2nd, 2017, the New Bedford Police decided to wait one more day to fill the truck as much as possible and is seeking the community's help. All donations can be dropped off at 871 Raquel Avenue at Police Headquarters from 11 AM- 4 PM.
