New Bedford Police & D.A. Looking Into Suspicious Death

It was right after 3 p.m. on Wednesday afternoon when the mother of Tiffany Ann Durfee arrived at her North Street Apartment in New Bedford.  Moments later, neighbors said the woman ran outside screaming.   The 35-year-old Durfee's dead body was found inside of the first floor apartment.   One police officer described the scene inside of the house as "very disturbing."  Durfee's mother also said the TV was missing from the apartment.   Today, police and the DA's office are investigating the case as "suspicious."   Neighbors also said Tiffany Ann Durfee was a good neighbor who moved there about a year ago with her 3 children.
