New Bedford Motorcyclist Medflighted After Serious Crash in North End

NEW BEDFORD - A 21-year-old New Bedford man is recovering after the motorcycle he was riding collided with a car Monday night.

New Bedford Police say the accident took place just after 8 p.m. Monday at Ashley Boulevard and Victoria Street.

The unidentified victim was taken to St. Luke's Hospital, and then medflighted to Rhode Island Hospital. He is reported to be in stable condition.

No other injuries were reported.

New Bedford accident reconstruction teams are investigating the accident.
