A New Bedford mother is accused of bringing her three-year-old son along for a burglary.  Police say 26-year-old Stephanie Drew was pushing her young son in a stroller Sunday afternoon, when she broke into a house in the area of Edison and Glennon Streets and stole an Apple MacBook that was sitting on a dining room table.

According to police, the owner of the computer was working in her yard when she heard a door slam and noticed a woman walking away from the area with a baby stroller.   Police questioned her and found the laptop in the bottom of the stroller.

Stephanie Drew was arrested and charged with breaking and entering and larceny.  She was due in New Bedford District Court this morning.   Her son has been placed in the custody of his grandfather while Child and Family Services investigates.
