PROVIDENCE, R.I. (AP) - Investigators say a 25-year-old man who was shot and killed in Providence last month was a member of a Boston gang involved in a feud with another group.

WPRI-TV reports Jacorey Sanders, of New Bedford, Massachusetts, was killed last month. According to court records, the gang feud Sanders was involved in had resulted in multiple shootings in Boston.

Police say Sanders told police at a Providence night club that he'd seen three men who "had a beef" with him before he was killed. Authorities say the men chased Sanders down after he left the club and killed him.

Three men have been charged with murder in the killing.
