One man is hurt in what's being called a gang-related stabbing in New Bedford's North End.

Police tell WBSM News the 26-year-old victim was attacked at around 10pm Tuesday night outside of Crown Fried Chicken on Acushnet Avenue by at least two men.

The victim, a New Bedford man, did not sustain life-threatening injuries and is being treated at St. Luke's Hospital.

The victim told police his attackers were yelling "United Front" during the attack, leading police to believe they may have ties to the United Front street gang in the city's West End.

Police say the victim has not been cooperative with investigators.
