New Bedford Man Dead After Early Morning Crash on 195 in Dartmouth

A New Bedford man is dead following an early morning crash on I-195.

Massachusetts State Police say 32-year-old Carlos Santiago of New Bedford was travelling east on 195 in Dartmouth near the Faunce Corner Road exit around 3:30am Friday morning when he lost control of his 2006 Mazda 3 and rolled over onto the guardrail. Santiago was ejected from the car and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The crash remains under investigation with assistance from members of the Bristol County State Police Detective Unit, State Police Collison Analysis and Reconstruction Section, Crime Scene Services Section. State Police were also assisted on scene by MassDOT.
