New Bedford Man Charged In Weekend Murder Of Girlfriend

When police responded to a 911 domestic call at around 6 a.m. on Sunday morning, they saw a man trying to escape an Ashland Place home by jumping from second story window. In inside the house, they found the body of 33-year-old Rebecca Felteau.

They say she had been murdered. At short time later, they found 47-year-old Pedro DeSouse hiding under a car on the same street. He has been arrested and charged with murder. Felteau was involved in a relationship with DeSousa. He is expected to be arraigned today.
