New Bedford Man Arrested for Coggeshall Street Stabbing
NEW BEDFORD — New Bedford Police arrested Kendall Scroggins, 18, of 98 Morgan Street in New Bedford Friday on charges of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon in connection with the stabbing Wednesday of a 21-year-old New Bedford man.
Scroggins turned himself in to police headquarters. Scroggins was also arrested on default warrants for assault and battery and assault with a dangerous weapon.
The stabbing victim remains in Rhode Island Hospital in stable condition with non life-threatening injuries. He was discovered stabbed in the location of 461 Coggeshall Street.
